What a new community faculty in Erie County implies for Union Town, PA

UNION City — Last calendar year, Michelle Good was unemployed, battling breast cancer for around a 12 months.

If it weren’t for the cost-free lunch plan that the university offered, Right explained she knows her grandchildren would not have been sufficiently fed.

“(With the plan) it was easier to get the foods for the kids previous 12 months,” Appropriate stated. “My niece went up to the university to get them for me and when the youngsters got hungry, we had food for at minimum a week, which was (a) huge help.”

Now, with the assistance of a new program in the college district, Proper thinks obtaining foodstuff and other resources for her grandchildren will be even much easier.
