COVID-19 triggers closure of 4 colleges in Purple Bluff Union Elementary College District

Red BLUFF, Calif. – The Pink Bluff Union Elementary College District has determined to shut colleges within just its district for 10 times because of to significant fees of quarantine between staff and students.

The next educational facilities are bundled in the closure:

  • Bidwell Elementary
  • Jackson Heights
  • Metteer Elementary
  • Vista Preparatory

Over the last week, there have been in between 200-450 pupils and employees out every day owing to quarantine, in accordance to the Red Bluff Union Elementary Faculty District.

On Thursday after a convention with the Tehama County Section of General public Wellness the Tehama County Director of Community Wellbeing proposed the closure of the Pink Bluff Union Elementary school district for 10 times.

The advice was created due to the present and pending status for COVID-19 instances and pending exams among the personnel and learners.

The educational facilities will close commencing tomorrow, Sept. 3, and will last by Sept. 12.

The faculty district is providing instruction and meals to students for the duration of the school closure.

Chromebook decide-up will start on Sept. 3 at the elementary educational facilities from:

  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Meal decide on-up will also choose place on Sept. 3 and Sept. 7 via Sept. 10 at the elementary faculties from:

  • Sept. 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Sept. 7 through Sept. 10 from 7 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

Faculties will be closed on Sept. 6 for Labor Working day.

The Crimson Bluff Union Elementary College District expects to resume lessons on Monday, Sept. 13.
